Our Values

We are authentic.

We foster a deep commitment to walk in the footsteps of Jesus by encouraging one another and giving our time, our talents, and our hearts in the service of others.

We encourage diversity.

We treat all as equals without judgement or bias, regardless of age, race, sexual identification, ability, economic status, or homelessness.

We believe in reconciliation.

We strive to bring people together who are otherwise divided over politics and various social issues.

We strive to embody the spirit of hospitality and inclusiveness.

No one who enters our doors is made to feel an outsider. Everyone is welcome to our services.

We value community.

Weekly fellowship is experienced in hearing the Word and breaking the Bread in the company of Jesus.

Our Mission

We are called to serve God, giving of ourselves as we worship, wrestle with questions of faith, and nurture the Christ in all people: the friend and the stranger, the satisfied and the needy, the believer and the unbeliever.

We are a Welcoming & Affirming Church

We welcome and embrace the LGBTQ Community. Within our membership are members who are lesbian, gay,bi-sexual, transgender, queer and questioning, straight. We are all created in the image of God and strive to follow Jesus.

Many LGBTQ people have been injured and hurt by religious organizations and people. We strive to be a place where people can heal and be nourished. For those with no faith or who struggle with faith, we are here for you, too.

In addition to the Christ Church community, we host the Living Beatitudes Community which is a chapter of Dignity USA. They meet on Sunday morning at 10 am. We also host Eternal Joy MCC, an LGBTQIA faith community that worships at 1:30 pm on Sundays.

Everyone is welcome. No exceptions.
