Volunteer shifts have been filled, but you can still help!

Christ Episcopal Church will host “Sanctuary for Peace,” a community prayer gathering in our sanctuary during the NATO Summit. We’ll have prayer resources, music, and art projects available. Structured prayer time will be offered each day at 1pm (led by community faith partners) and at 7pm (evening prayer in the Episcopal tradition).

Hooray — all our volunteer shifts have been filled! Thank You to everyone who has signed up. Volunteer orientations have been scheduled for May 14, 18, and 19; if you are volunteering, please check your email for more information.

How You Can Help:

• Lead Evening Prayer, or be a reader, daily at 7pm. If you’re interested, please email Rev. Homeyer (christdaytonrector@nullgmail.com) by Sunday, May 18.
• Help us prepare the Sanctuary! Join us for about an hour after worship on Sunday, May 18 or on Monday, May 19 at 6:30pm to rearrange the Nave
• Donate snacks! We’ll be packing snack bags for volunteers, and for guests experiencing hunger. Donations should be brought in by May 20, and can be left on the wood counter in the parish kitchen. We’re looking for donations of: cases of water, juice boxes, apples, oranges, personal-sized bags of chips, packs of cheese crackers, individually wrapped beef sticks
