Take, Eat is our ministry to the St Vincent de Paul Homeless Shelters in Dayton, Ohio. A small team of volunteers serve lunch to the women and families at the St Vincent Apple Street Shelter on the first Saturday of each month, from 10:30am-12:30pm.

Volunteer Fingerprinting + Background Check
Fingerprinting background checks are required for by St. Vincent de Paul for all individual volunteers, chaperones and recurring groups. St. Vincent’s offers walk-in fingerprinting on-site. Click here for details on how to complete the fingerprinting process.

We park in the main parking lot, enter through the main building entrance and go through security. Let the front desk know you are there to volunteer for the first time and what your role is. They will guide you from there. Please dress modestly but comfortably.
