We are a community of faith that is proudly welcoming & affirming; we strive to be a place where our LGBTQ+ members can flourish. Within our membership are folks all over the spectrum of beauty & wonder; we believe the Divine has made all of us in Their image.
Many LGBTQ+ folks have been injured and hurt by religious organizations and people. We desire to be a place where people can heal and be nourished, a refuge where everyone can feel safe to explore and grow in their faith.
In addition to the Christ Church community, we host the Living Beatitudes Community, group of friendly and caring Christians who worship together, work for social justice together, and live in emulation of the spirit of the Beatitudes. They are also an affirming faith community, and worship on Sunday morning at 10 am on the lower level of the building. We also host Closet TRANSformation, a nonprofit clothing exchange affirming the trans community of the Miami Valley.
