Help us Feed Our Neighbors! 2048 1152 Dayton Christ Episcopal Church

Did you know that in Montgomery County, more than 66,000 people are food insecure, according to the latest Feeding America data. 22,000 of those are children.

Our parish is committed to addressing food insecurity and hunger in our city. We recently partnered with Have A Gay Day to collect food for their pantry program.

We have chosen to partner with Have A Gay Day because we believe in their welcoming & affirming mission – the need to eat is something we all have in common. When we share our abundance with others, all of God’s people can be fed.

️Donations can be brought in any time, and will be blessed during worship on the third Sunday of each Month, then taken to Have A Gay Day’s food pantry. Donations should be placed in the red wagons, found in the Parish Hall. Posted beside the wagons is a list of  most-needed items.

May we never be at ease at our tables, until all our neighbors are fed…
