God willing and the people consenting, the Rev. Canon Kristin Uffelman White will be ordained bishop on Saturday, February 17 at 11 a.m. at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus. Everyone in our diocese is invited to attend in person, and the service will also be livestreamed on the diocesan website.
On Saturday, Bishop-elect White announced that Bishop Wendell N. Gibbs will be chief consecrator at the ordination in place of Presiding Bishop Michael Curry, who is recovering from surgery.
Reservations are not required, but your RSVP is helpful. Please be sure to reserve a spot if you need child care during the ordination service so they have as many caregivers as needed. Make a reservation and volunteer to help.
Members from Christ Church will plan to carpool from the church, details TBD.
