Procter will mark the Season of Creation by hosting a weekend Farm to Forest Retreat from September 22 to 24. Participants will spend the weekend learning more about techniques of growing crops and managing the land and discussing how these practices bring us closer to God.
Special guest speakers will include Brian Sellers-Petersen, agrarian missioner in the Diocese of Olympia and coordinator for Good News Gardens, and Rachel Tayse, an organic farmer and sustainable agricultural advocate.
