12-STEP MEETINGS
Christ Church is home to a number of 12-Step programs. All of these programs help people to break the chains of addiction, save lives, and build community. This is an important part of the work that Jesus calls us to do. If you, a family member, or a friend are trapped and need help in breaking out of the cycle, struggle and isolation of addiction, this may be a meaningful option in making a new choice.
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at noon in the lower-level worship space. Many folks who regularly attend this meeting are longtime members with 10-20+ years of sobriety; newcomers and those returning to 12-step are always welcome. This is an Open Meeting, where anyone is welcome to attend, including students required to observe a 12-step meeting as part of their curriculum.
Sex Addicts Anonymous meets on Wednesdays at 9 am in the Parlor, on the main level of the church. This is a Closed Meeting.
