Our Fall programming will explore the Mexican holiday, Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. We’ll be exploring how we honor and celebrate our own loved ones in the life of the church, along with the worldwide ways of honoring the deceased. An ofrenda (an altar built to honor lost loved ones) will be set up in the Nave throughout the season. The ofrenda is an eclectic display of offerings full of symbolism and meaning, meant to help us remember, learn about and celebrate the lives of those we’ve lost.
Both family and adult programs will be exploring Dia de los Muertos this fall, click here to see program dates & times. We hope you’ll join us!
