6:30PM Agape Meal, gathering in the Parish Hall

An Agape Meal, or “Love Feast”, is an ancient tradition of table fellowship used by the earliest Christians. It is a meal, shared together to strengthen harmony, goodwill, and congeniality. Ours will include readings from scripture, a reflection, and prayer and will be held around tables, in the Parish Hall. Folks should bring enough for 4-6 people to share of either: Bread, Grapes, Cheese & Olives, Nuts & Hummus

12:00PM Good Friday Walk for Justice & Peace begins at Courthouse Square

Together with folks from a variety of Christian backgrounds, we walk through our city and reflect on the many injustices of our world , marking each stop with a station of the cross.

7:00PM Good Friday Liturgy with Passion Gospel Reading, gathering in the Nave

On Good Friday we do not consume the blessed sacrament of Holy Eucharist, instead we bear witness to a full cross and a full tomb- full of God’s love and sacrifice for and with us.

8:00PM Casual Campfire at the Rector’s House

A casual campfire gathering at the Rector’s house where we’ll read a little scripture, remember our baptism, and rest in fellowship together. Gathering at 8pm, with the fire starting at 8:30, right after sunset. Everyone is invited to bring a camp chair, a snack/drink, and to stick around to socialize for an hour.
